I was working on my 04 STi Spec C and kinda stumbled upon an very useful way to measure my car's times. It works great but has one flaw.
What I do is line up like normal (Indy strip), hold down gas and e brake, pause the game, write down the clock time, then simply press and hold the gas again. When the game is unpaused, it releases the brake and you launch like normal. The only flaw is you have to pause again to see your end time. Getting the timing down for the end is the hardest part but doing a couple runs will give you a good average.
I moved the middle white block right by the shadow to help give me a better visual cue to pause again. But you at least get a definite start time.
What do you guys think? I have seen other posts about people saying how they measure their times/tunes but this seems the simpliest from what I've read. Let me know your thoughts. 👍 👎
