i had a thought today thinking how could the time trials be a little more fun? (when the leaderboards go up...)
how about cash rewards depending on position?
i would suggest the payouts varied by what percentage of the time you are in
bottom 10% get 1k
80-90% get 2k
70-80% get 3k
60-70% get 4k
50-60% get 5k
40-50% get 6k
30-40% get 7k
20-30% get 8k
10-20% get 9k
top 10% get 10k
and also posting in the top 10 gets you even more,
say
10-25k
9- 50k
8- 100k
7- 250k
6- 500k
5- 1mil
4- 2 mil
3- 5 mil
2- 10 mil
1- 25 mil
it would get people posting times a lot!
obviously as soon as you did a clean lap you got the cash, it would be a good little money maker while also building an awesome leaderboard or very competative times.
one other thing, if someone knocks you off say 2nd-3rd you dont then get the cash for third! you only get your payout on lap completion.
i'm gonna suggest it to kaz, maybe he will give me a job!
