idea to stop car scammers

Last nite I got done by a lowlife scammer who stole my impreza super touring car. This got me thinking..... why don't pd implement a holding room that both parties put what they want to trade in, then both parties can see items are there, only when both items are in holding room the trade can take place. What do you think?
