Can someone provide me with some quick dimensions for a typical cockpit setup?

[1] I want to take apart my G27 pedals and wall mount it. What angle should the wall be?

[2] How high should the seat be with respect to the floor?

[3] how far should the seat be from the pedals?

any additional geometry would be great!

All these dimensions you are after will depend on your height, build and personel preferences. What I did when I was designing my cockpit was to measure the seating, steering position etc of my road car and take it from there. :)

The other thing to do is get some scraps of wood and build a mockup to help get the dimensions right.

For example, if you want a horizontal wheel, you need to angle the base it clamps on.

Just remember that the lower you have your seat the harder it is to climb out of.

I guess you mean 'vertical wheel' here? Unless the OP is planning on building a bus driving simulator! :p

It really just depend on your height, width, and available space. If I give you a cockpit for a 6 foot guy, but you're only 5 foot then that obviously won't work. I suggest looking for ideas at the cheap cockpit thread or at the thewayiplay.com
