Ideal Rally Car

I juss got my rally license and I'm looking to buy the ideal rally car. I have a skyline hooked up all id need are the dirt racing tires but are there any ideal rally cars to use or will I be good just using my skyline?

I used my skyline..worked very well with the 1000+ hp...pretty ez to win other cars..There is no "ideal" all have their perks and drawbacks

I am not sure what you mean about an "ideal" rally car but my choice at first was the Impreza LM Race Car. I used this until I won a good rally car as a bonus.

Uhh, it really depends if you want to race tightly, or just smash the competition easily...
Escudo to win easily,
I guess a slower 4WD, I think the Daihatsu Mira might be too slow for the rally cars, maybe a stock rally car might be good competition.

I used my road Evo VI, with about 380-0dd HP, and the ride height jacked up a bit. But once I won a few rally cars I started using them.

Well i only like to use proper rally cars in rally races. So i always choose the Lancia Delta, that rules all.

The Second Gen RX7 is great for rally if you like rwd rally cars.

The Subaru Legacy and the Audi S4 make enjoyable rally cars.

A thought to keep in mind while running the rallies, is the AI employ a "catch-up" algorithum that keeps them fairly close to you. Unless you really overpower the AI, they'll rarely slip more than 3-4 seconds behind you. Also, if you manage to spin an AI, they seem to catch up amazingly fast. In additino to that, the AI get better in the 5 and even more so in the 7 lap races.

So when you run this, pick a car that is a stable 4WD and goes in the range of 400hp.

Is there somewhere that has a list of all the cars you can put rally tires on? The ZZII would be a good rally car... It's got higher torque than any 4WD car besides the Escudo, it weighs 1000kg, has 910hp, and actually handles pretty well.

I agree, any car can pretty much mop the floor with the AI rally cars..They arn't much competiton, unless you have a fiat

I am going to have to try the Delta Lancia. Currently love the 206. I rocks. Stable and not over the top in hp. The EVO VII prototype is good also though seems to push really bad.

I use the Lancer Evo VII RS. This is the one that comes in only white.Its pretty cool car.

BadBatsuMaru u asked for all the cars that can race in the rallies.Like a month ago I made a thread like this asking the same question.If u search there is a chance that u might find it. Sorry I dont have time or else I would of find it and put the link right here so u could check all the cars that can race in rally races.I hope this helps
