Identity Crisis?

On certain threads, I cannot access my own user profile by clicking on my user name in the 'recent post' column. In the Opinions and Current Events Forum, for example, if I made the last post, and click on my user name, Joey D's user profile comes up instead. It's a small item, because this only comes up in one forum (so far), but all the same, it's something which I would like to know the cause of.
 
Well, I checked, and Joey D's name was nowhere in the vicinity. However, it turned out to be that Joey made the last post in the same forum, but it was not registering on my computer. So, I really jumped the gun on this one.
 
It links to the last poster in that specific forum, it happens because you have not reloaded the page after Joey's post.
 
Turbo Lag is correct. If you notice the URL of that link, it's unique for that individual thread, and not a direct link to that person's profile. If someone else posts and the ultimate location of that link changes before you can get a new copy of the page, you will be taken to what appears to be the incorrect profile.

(small voice) Well, I figured that this thread would die quickly anyways, or it would spiral into off-topic banter, to be honest, but it doesn't look like I'll have to worry about it here.
 
Why does it need to be locked?
