If a saved design is deleted, is it still shared?

So last night I created a new paint job in several colors and finishes. I had a few extra files and accidentally deleted one of the most downloaded versions from my save director.

My question is now is it gone? Or are people still able to download it online?

I ended up sharing a new one after that but unfortunately wont be able to keep track of the old one that was doing well. Not sure if it is still available or gone forever.
 
I want to know this too, on my BRZ livery I shared it and in less than a few minutes I had one download, I unshared it to make a quick change and then shared it again. Camaro said he saw two designs last night, one with painted whells and one with non-painted wheels and that is just bizzare. The one with Black painted wheels should be the only one available.
 
I have a feeling that even if you unshared a design, or delete it, the design might still be online for others to download. Even if it is not in your saved designs library. But I am not certain.

I just know you need to be VERY careful if you decide to delete a paint job from your library. Some of the designs get saved to your current car, and some get auto renamed to "Forza".

It is something strange with the "Save to current" car function.
 
I still do not know if a deleted design from your hard drive actually stays in the share factory online.

I ran a bunch of save tests last night and this system is truly bizarre. It seems to create a separate auto save each time you leave the paint editor AND the vinyl editor. Then sometimes last night it was removing my entire paint job. That is for sure a new bug since the new update.

So unless you rename and over write your existing save, it will always create another save in your files called "Forza". I am just at the point where I will not be deleting any files any more.
 
I think it does. My brother had an issue where his save got corrupted and had to be deleted in order to get back into the game. In doing so he lost all of his tunes and paints as well as career progression. The tunes he shared before this happened were still available online but were not present on his system.

I would think that if you want them to no longer be shared then you need to unshare before you delete them.
