Body styling Graphics similar to Tokyo Extreme racer with body kits etc.

life like crashes.

a real detailed pit and pit crew.

more cars... BMW (M series, Z series), Jaguar (xjr15), McLaren, More good american cars.
If you are the no. 1 car game in the world get the no.1 cars (Ferrari, Lambo and others)

how you make a game with so many cars and only one untimate driving machine a weak one at that 328ci come on. i'd rather drive the new mini cooper.

deep dish rims, convertable options, weather changes, custom pait jobs, racing paint (GT1)

- Quite a few non-Japanese manufacturers wouldn't want that.

life like crashes.
- The manufacturers who don't want thier cars to have damage outnumbers those who do.

- Amen!!

- Ferrari, McLaren, Lamborghini, BMW M Series and Z Series are all licenced to Electronic Arts.

The new Mini Cooper is in Gran Turismo Concept...
And Polyphony Digital try to cater for all tastes, which is why there are some low-hp cars in the game, and som made up LM cars.

deep dish rims,
3D rims?

convertable options
They nearly got there with Gran Turismo Concept.

weather changes
Supposed to make an appearance in GT4.

custom pait jobs,
Not sure if you'd be able to do this.

racing paint (GT1)
Like the [R] model cars in GT1 and GT2?

Your topic should have been called:
If I helped designed the next Gran Turismo, and was the owner of all the car companies... ;)

the problem is that the GT series is heading towards more hardcore racing and less towards just street cars it seems. Though I think more visual customization would definetly be a plus for gt4 and online play for individualism.

Doesn't sound like a problem to me. ;) I'm not totally convinced about your argument though since most of the cars in the game are street cars that can be modded but NOT converted into race cars.

What does happen is that most people use the race cars to defeat the AI when it uses street cars.

You also have to take into account how much a info can be stored on a DVD Rom. The more cars, etc equals the more info that has to be stored on the DVD Rom. You also have to take into account how much a PS2 can handle, graphics, etc. A realistic looking pit crew would mean well, better graphics for the pit area. I'm sure a PS2 could handle it, I'm just pointing that out though.

Moving to Rumor & Speculation forum...

well i just meant its HEADING towards more racing cars. that is, in gt1(if i remember correctly) there werent many real race cars. and when i say race cars, i mean dtm/jgtc style cars, not necessarily caterhams and F1 cars. and for a game to have bodykits etc and try to be a hardcore racing game at the same time, would seem to be a problem.

I agree with M5 power, i nearly went in to a coma, when i saw the lineup of Bimas in GT3, Wat we need is more Bimas as it is the ultimate power machine.

and how about different engine sounds? there are over 200 cars, why do most of them sound the same?

I still miss the "[R]" icon on all my cars back in GT1 and GT2, that what it makes GT so great.

Second, while in the pit (changing tires or somthing), if you have a convertible/roadster/cabrio, you can opt yourself to do a "roof conversion" on your vehicle. Just pressing R1 (to open) and R2 (to close) or the useless "SELECT" button, you can see you roof open/close while the pit crew do their jobs. :)

Third, hazard button (when turn signals blink constanly altogether) on the R3 button, and turning on/off head/tailights during day/night on the L3 button.

Fourth, more US exclusive Japanese cars, like the legendary Mitsu Eclipse GSX, 1999 Honda Civic Si coupe, Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V, US-spec Mitsu Lancer Evolution (aka EVO 7.5), Toyota Corolla GT-S coupe, US-spec Subaru Impreza WRX (w/ 227hp), and the like.

Fifth, more flexible replay options.

What do you think guys? :)

about the sounds it comes down to space and time....sounds dont really matter 2 me im a graphics and gameplay boy.

Ive said this before but Project gotham have no relation 2 EA what so ever so there may be a chance for Polyphony yet....

And why cant we get the mitsubishi EVO it is a amazing car and would kick but on the rally races.

another thing is that it seams strange to me to put on a turbo that might add at least 200 horses and have absolutly no visual change to the car. i mean dont you think there should at least be a new bump under the hood, let alone a blower the size of your head. Now that would be more like it!:trouble:

Bring back the muscle cars. Simple, easy, and makes some of us very happy. GT3 rocks, but I miss my rodded Dodge Charger.

Blackfish

I just wish they'd USE ALL THE CARS THEY OWN LICENSES FOR!!! Come on! They had 5 FREAKING SHELBY CARS LICENSED but they only used 1!!!
