You would think if he wanted to make an RPG with the lvling and such he would realize that most RPG's dont get really fun until you reach max lvl as there are a lot of stuff that you unlock or are then able to do once you get there(used to play WoW so i know a little about RPG's)

I think a great way like its probably been stated before, would be improving the online play like having lvl 40 only lobbies with good prizes that you can also only get once you're lvl 40. This could give this game a lot more staying power, IMO.

Well, the level system helps me detect people that are levels below the cars level requirements.
Makes it easier to kick X2010 uses at sub lvl30 and other similar cars that have a high level requirements.

Why are people putting their opinions in this forum. Its a question and answer forum.

Because as far as i know there is not a general forum or an opinion forum...

Okay more specifically, an opinion or general forum for GT5. Cause looking at that link i didn't see many if any threads about GT5.

cool thanks, lazyness on my part, clicked on that and only the list of other threads and didn't bother to look furhter down. my bad

If you think RPGs are only about end game, you aren't playing them right. :p

You miss out on all the finer details that make the experience exactly as the devs intended it to be if you just rush through, while those who are taking their time to dig deeper and deeper into every feature and mechanic are gaining the true valued experience that you just leapfrogged. ;)

Its the same way in GT5. For example, the X1 challenge and players who received duped X1s prematurely (jumping to end game) vs players who earned their X1 through the Vettel challenge (playing as intended)... Who do you think is the better driver in this scenario?

Role playing games are meant to be never ending. My little brother played runescape non stop for 3 years and isn't anywhere near completion. How long would a game like that take pd to finish making?

Edit: When anyone says RPG I think this.

I'm not saying the point of an RPG is to get to the end as fast as possible by any means. But if your telling me that even if you do everything the right way(according to your narrow view).
you wont get bored by the time you reach lvl 40, or that you wouldn't like to have more content for those who do eventually reach it, which will be you too in case you didn't realize. Then you don't know much about RPG's.

That's all I'm saying is people will reach the end, and in this game the end is basically the end. Whereas I stated before in almost all RPG's, or games with lvl based gaming, getting to the "max" lvl allows you to do more and expands the gaming experiance.

This doesn't have anything to do with GT5.
