Where would it be? And why?

I'd either stay where I am, Phoenix, AZ., because the weather can't be beat, and it's very beautiful. You have mountains, desert, high mountain plataeu, lakes, and The Grand Canyon...

or...

I'd move to British Columbia. I love the Pacific Northwest, the climate, the geology, the history, the green, and even the rain. I also love Canada which, to me, has what I like about America, minus what I don't like. Although I'd feel weird being an expatriot. But I have gone so far as to seriously research the possibility. Hopefully someday. Seems like a nice place to raise a family.

Another awesome place is the Bay Area, San Fransisco in particular. Lived there for nine months and have always felt sort of unrequited since.

The things both of those places have in common is the Pacific Ocean. I need to be near the ocean. Arizona doesn't do it.

Good question. I still haven't fully resolved the city/country dilemma, and am trying to do this currently with a suburban house on the outskirts of Edinburgh, which is pretty close to the best thing we could be doing in our current stage of life.

That said, I loved Toronto and Adelaide, and would like to spend a lot of time in either place.

Although I am already here, Florida is it for me. I haven't decided on a town quite yet, because each one of the major ones has something that appeals to me.

I can honestly say, I was born in Florida, and will probably die here.

Doesn't mean I am going to stop complaining about the tourists. Its like an unwritten rule, you live here, you complain about the tourism. ;)

Anywhere in Colorado.

Maybe a few places in Canada, but I dunno.:p

Mile, believe me
BC is a very niceplace to live
vancouver is VEERY nice.... but you gotta get used to the rain
but if you wanna get alotta snow.. go up north to prince rupert, prince george

Yes Florida rules! (besides all the old people) But my hometown is Hollywood, FL... Man I miss that place.:(

I'm assuming that you've never actually spent quality time in Colorado, because if you had, you wouldn't be making this questionable statement.

Stuttgart (Germany), near the Porsche plant.
in the States: Tawas, Michigan - lots of lake-effect snow year-round (i like snow), very cold (i like cold), close to the Motor City and Chicago (well, relatively).

there's always The Hamptons, too...

stuff to see, i guess. is it not a fun place?
don't expect me to know - i'm 4000 miles away.

Well, aside from the weekly tramplings, yeah, it's a blast - especially hanging around 51st & Ashland really late at night.

If, I could afford it, I'd love to live in Modena, Italy, obviously because that's where Ferrari bases its operations from. Of course, I'd have to learn Italian though.

I'm pretty happy where I am today. If I did have to move though, it would probably be around the Portland, Oregon area, or there abouts. The scenery, the diversity of people and food, and the music scene is pretty happenin'. I also grew up in the Hawaiian islands in the south pacific, so I've always had a draw towards the ocean. I often frequent the coast on short visits, and always feel at home near the ocean and the mountains and all the green vegetation.

I'd live right where I am... good ol' southern California (gawd, I sound like a sales advocate for the place!).

Awesome weather, ocean's never far away, terrific geography (I live on what can be considered mountain and desert land... how cool is that?!?).

Dead on:D

My choice would be Adak, Alaska. I love the cold. Plus nobody for miles in alaska. (especially Adak, now that it is closed, and only the game wardens and such are there...)

Japan!Because they have like unlimited supplies of anime there also =D,hehe.I'd also wanna go to that school of Drifting and learn how to drift..the safe way of course

AE86Driver

*drools* ahhh...schoolgirls....

I'd like to live in Japan. I've always been intrigued by the Japanese culture.

Although i'd probably stay in beautiful and cold Canada, and move to BC!

I'm not really sure - some place where it snows only so mildly, and yet is near an ocean and has generally nice summer weather.

I'd love to check out Alaska. I don't know if I could stand the long winter night, or even worse, the long summer day.

it wasnt too bad in adak, since it is south of the arctic circle. But still i love the cold:D

Japan seems like a intriguing place, my idol artist lives there (see avatar) as he made the dragonball series.

Germany is awesome and fun, the autobahn is excellent with a porsche!

I spent two weeks vacationing there with my family when I was younger.:odd:

I've spent a little time in CO and, although it is spectacular in the Rockies, I wouldn't want to live there. I felt closed in. Everywhere I looked there was a wall of rock.

Europe - Italy, France, Monaco () etc..
Alaska or Canada, ya know, the snowy places where Cessna's flown by amatuer pilots on the way home to see his kids or wife or something will always crash in the movies.

[Edit] or our bach up at a place called Russell in the Bay Of Islands. Or[b/] somewhere down in the South Island of NZ, nice and peaceful, not that crowded.
Why Europe? Old, I like the 'oldness' of Rome and the fact that there isnt a massive skyscraper in most of the cities.
Why Alaska/Canada? I like the coldness and the scenery, same with Russell and the Sth Is. of NZ.[/edit]
