I finally came across one in the UCD on about day 425. It was 1.9+ million and it is a level 23.
Sorry if their is another thread with this info, but I couldn't find one that had these details.
Too bad you can't use it in the Rally events but I am going to drop it to the ground and run it in as many road races as I can. I have been amazed by this car since I saw it at the 1999 Pike Peak. It is the first car that comes to mind when I think back to that event. Most of the cars were just modified street cars but then I heard this whistling sound almost like a jet engine, then around the corner comes this thing that looked like a racing wing with wheels.

It's certainly an interesting car, but I couldn't afford it first time I saw it. Glad you got what you wanted 👍

Here's a video of it I found:

Finally got mine on first cycle through UCD today! After about a million cycles yesterday. It's unbelievable. So much fun, and so so fast. 7 seconds off the Formula Gran Turismo at Nordschliefe despite being limited to 200mph. It's just incredible through the corners. Love it :D

i remember when i saw it come threw my UCD. i had about 1.3 mil at the time and couldnt earn enough before it disappeared. it was a sad day for my car collection.

I was doing the Like The Wind race the other day, and the Escudo showed up in the line up, I must admit I laughed at the idea of that car taking on full out Le Mans prototypes, but whatta you know, it won, and I came 5th in a Mazda Furai... needles to say, I'm intrigued...

I remember I had that thing in GT3, absolute beast of a car, tuned it to do the super speedway 100 laps as fast as possible, Don't know why they even bothered with a steering wheel, it drove straight into walls no matter how much you turned. But it's an Iconic car in my life cuz it was the first one that hit 400Kph

I've seen it do poorly in Like the Wind. I think it's default top speed is like 198.

The Escudo is "fun" in GT5, but it's not the killing machine it was when it made its Gran Turismo debut back in the day.

Yep, soon as I saw that car I bought it; remebering how it performed in GT3, thinking "Now I'll cane 'Like The Wind' for sure". Well, OK. Daytona road course was a breeze (no pun intended). Indy oval, different kettle of fish. Flying off the line, serious corner speed... then pull out of another cars' slipstream, and it's like driving into a wall! Clearly an indication of how the game has become a lot more realistic. Didn't stop me from wanting to send the PS3 flying out of the window however...

Oh how I loved the Escudo. I remember, in GT4, I lowered the gear ratios right the way down and tried actually using it in a rally. With the five second penalty for hitting stuff, this did not go well.

I want Pikes Peak, a hill climb course template in the course maker and an Escudo, now. Anyone else remember the Cultus Pikes Peak Version? I want that, too. And the XL-7, premium (of course).

I'd love to see this little monster premium. Actually I'd like to see Minolta too. Let's see how will be those next updates.
