I would like to start a League for serious ILMC and LeMans fans to get in the mood for June's 24 hours of lemans. I was thinking we should turn difficulty up to eleven, have four classes. Two gt's one stock tuned around 620pp and another 650... LMP classes Stockish 690 and all out fire breathing monsters. 720pp... we could round-robin the classes and have two 2.4 hour races for LeMans and the ring VLN style (with prototypes of course).. a 1.0 (1000 km race @ suzuka, monza, and Fuji)... then perhaps some 45 ish minute sprints @ Macau and Laguna or maybe 25m x2 races switching classes between races as well... Anyhoo, If I get some interest, I shall formalize regs and restrictions etc. I would even be willing to give some prize cars and Chrome paints etc to the top three.
Rules will be non-negotiable however, We shall have one steward for each race as well as me (cause I shall be king) and one driver rep. to judge any infractions which would have to be in by 2h after the race with a decision coming 48 hours from the time of incident. etc etc. u get the picture. I have some hosting space and Capture cards so technical knowledge will be a plus... anyway,
Damage will be full with wear on TC can be debated but no other aids will be allowed
I'm open to suggestions, and if I get some interest I will formalize This post in a new one and put up a front page so that we dont hog space on gtp. OLR GTP rules will be in effect and a homoligation system is open to debate (although I would prefer a "pp ballast" (Don't laugh) to keep things fun and competative). As all the rappers and suburban white kids say, holla back!
In case I wasnt clear about another "league site" as it were... I would be willing to host full races in 720p on a separate site which I own which we can use a sort of workshop for multimedia and other messing about... shoot maybe even broadcast live u never know, however all official buisiness would take place here @ GTPlanet and we could post back finished race edits etc... so that we don't have forum threads that take an hour to load and cost the admins here a arm and leg to serve said data... (unless they say its ok) Im getting ahead of myself (as usual) so I'm gonna leave it there.
