Ignore Users Without Accessing Profile

Sorry if I'm acting a bit stupid, but I don't know how to ignore users without going into their profile. And when they make their account only accessible to friends, there is no way I can ignore them. So basically, I don't want to go into account, I just want an option to ignore that particular member as soon as that little box with their name and avatar pops up.

On the People You Ignore page in your settings there's a search bar to find the user.
