I do not know what kind of implications this would have on hardware, but, I want to use my own cars in ilink battles!!! I want my own screen, with my own car! I would not mind having to download other peoples settings (a whole 50k on a 400mps connection) so that we could race (or tandem drift). I hope to god that this feature will be included in GT4. That would be swell.:)
 
In Japan the newer versions of the PS2 dont even have an ILink port, It was removed.
 
they newest models dont. dont know if theyre released yet tho. They also have an infrared sensor in it for the new infrared remote. but back to the topic, many ppl say you can just use the BBA to LAN the game.
