I remembered that I bought an iLink cable incase I get a camcorder I can upload movies to my PC. But, can I hook the PS2 to the computer using the iLink???? I've plugged it in before and it didn't work, maybe there is software I need?? Anyone know??

some where this question had been asked before, and the answer is no. Although it may fit, its for the camera, or linking two ps2's together. Sorry the firewire wont work.

I thought so. That sucks that the capabilities of that iLink aren't supported on the PS2. I would do so much stuff with that. Thanks though.

Actually it is supported ... just not for what you want to do. There would have to be another level of software that that captures the video and sends it to the iLink port on the fly at the same time that it's rendering the game.

However, it does use iLink for network which works quite well.

most who do thinks like videos have a capture card. Works just like your tv cept your computer has better resolution so its gonna be in a small box if you want to see things well...
