* dates will be announced when there are enough drivers and the days that suit everyone.
* there will be a pre season race held at Indy Road Course for everyone to get used to each others driving styles to reduce the amount of wrecks during the official season.
RULES
There will be a pace lap during every race to warm up tires and to get into your qualified spot. The pace lap will be limited to 80 mph. OVERTAKING on the pace lap or BEFORE you cross the start line is NOT permitted. The pace lap is double file. This reduces the amount of wrecks and less complaints. Every Car must use Hard and Soft tires during the race. I will review the replay footage to see if you have used both tires. Any accidents that occur will be reviewed and point deductions will be given. If for any reason you do cause an accident please slow down for the car that you hit and wait for him to catch up. This will will also reduce complaints and shows good sportsmanship. If there is a large accident involving at least 3-4 cars and can cause a much larger wreck the pace car will be deployed and the race will go under caution. The leading cars must slow down when they approach the pace car. There is NO OVERTAKING allowed during the caution laps. During those 3-4 laps pitting will be permitted when the pace car announces it via mic and text chat. After pitting, no overtaking is allowed after leaving pit lane. When the pace car drives into the pit cars can increase speed to 100mph and when the first car crosses the start line the race has resumed.
OVERTAKING
GT Cars- If you see a LMP car approaching you must pull to the outside lane. NO BLOCKING is allowed.
LMP- When you approach a slower Gt car please do not bump them out of your way. They are racing for 1st too. Driving a little slower through corners during an overtake can allow you to have more control of the car and reduce accidents.
QUALIFYING
2-3 days before a race there will be a qualifying session held. Every car will be on the track qualifying while an official will monitor the times and record them.
THE TIRES THAT YOU QUALIFIED WITH MUST BE USED AT THE START OF THE RACE.
DRIVING AIDS
TCS is limited to 4
Skid recovery is allowed because of the weather changes
Abs is allowed
Every other aid is not allowed
Points system is the same for each class:
10-1st
9-2nd
8-3rd
7-4th
6-5th
There will be an extra point given to the fastest lap recorded from each class.
