You will never guess what happened on Thursday.

I took Project Eden back to the video shop (still have'nt finished it) and when i got home, i thought i would play a two player game of GT3 with my brother. (he has started a new game save on the memory card i bought the other day)

So i did a race for him (because he could'nt win it) and won it by miles, and then went to the main title screen to save his game.
I was going to load up my game, as i was nearly finished and then i ended up saving his brand new save onto the save of mine which took 4 or more months to do.
Needless to say i was not happy and sat there staring at the screen for about 5-10 minutes trying to figure out what just happened.

No two player game followed, and the next day i started a new save game, much to my disapointment.

I'll try to be more carefull in the future. :(

Seriously though, I'm sure that sucks to have worked so hard and nearly complete the game to have it all go down the drain. Thats why I wish we could have back up save files on the same memory card, for these types of situations. I myself thought of starting over my game, but I got to thinking of all my treasured cars that I would be missing out on. Besides, I almost fell asleep when I went to run the Beetle at Super Speedway in the Begginer League cup :sleep:.
 
I think there should be a backup save as well.

I did buy the other memory card for me to start a new new game on, but my brother asked if he could use it.

Oh well.
 
I feel your pain man. :( Last Saturday I was setting up a raid on my PC, and accidentally delelted the contents of my Hard drive. I had my GT3 saved game stored there, because I had the Diablo save on my memory card. Now it too is all gone... :(

That is really bad for You !

By the GT-1 Game, I'm must to resume three times , solely my first Memory Card was bad and delete my Game save, all times !

Than I have buy a Original Sony Memory Card only for my Gt Game and I had never a problem again.

But now I'm dont have a other Memory Card to make a Backup for Playstation 2 now.

I hope that never to happen again !!!
But to protect against for foolery - delete, help's only a Backup .

damn that is kinda like the time I had spent 4 hours buildin a Hybrid saved it and loaded another GT2 save file and went to save and low and behold I started to save over the Hybrid card and then my dumbass self went and pulled the memory card out. after I relized what I had done I started cussing at myself while my brother laughed at me.
 
So...act-out on your brother, I doesn't help, but it does make you feel waaayyy bettah :cool: ;)
