Hi Dear GTplanet fellow Gt5p Fans..

I'm not trying to make some trouble, I'm only trying to understand why!!

Why aren't you interested in sharing your Time, or give your respons to a Quick time..

I made a thread for about 2 weeks ago, where i guided you to see a video, showing no1infreestyle, driving the S-6 event with the F40 in a very quick time, 2'21.961 you can see the video, on the GTtv in the user part..

I thought you would be thrilled about the time, and mayby you were, but you didn't wanted to leave a message, because of (maybe) no1infreestyle shouldn't feel to good about him self.. or you were too lazy to answer. but nahhh this forum is boiling with activite, so come on guys, thos is what a forum and community is all about, sharing the love for the Content is about..

Am I asking for to much ? Don't really think so..

Maybe i just missunderstud the whole idea of being part of a community. I really don't think so..

SO please guys, show some respect, and show some exitement when some of your fellow Gt players do something extraordinary like making a Time that quick.. and also we Don't know if anybody has done a quicker time, because no one, has said anything about it, so i guess no more challenge, only driving and talking about how great, or whats missing in this Sim. A little borring for this awesome community ey!! shape up..

I'm not saying you should say something because i made a thread, I don't write in all the thread either, but this is different, it's about one of your fellow drivers doing a great time.. Support it..

Because that's what this game is about isn't it..💡

I dont see the point of this, if no one posted on the thread than no one was interested or had anything to say, so the thread died. Hundreds of threads don't go anywhere so I don't think you should feel so dissappointed for this one going unnoticed. Who cares, its no big deal.

He's got a point, go to my profile and look at the threads I've started. 40/43 have died completely. And only 4 locked.:sly:
 
Yes i know Nissan Tuner, but then again I'm a grown up, I can take it, and I'm not doing anything wrong with making this thread, I just got the Nerve to point out something, that's if often wrong in communities, or at least, my idea of a healthy community, that are not only in it to get some, but also to give some..

What it's all about is that i'm trying too get the negative wipe out of my system, because of missing response or interest in my thread.. so you see, it really doesn't matter, if the only responses are negative, you 2 guys made a answer, but again nothing about the Nice driving or great video or just some positive response to the idea of we could be better to support each other..

I am quite relaxed, happy as ever, positive as ever, just got something on my mind..

Starting threads can be risky when you're a GTP newb. It doesn't always work, i've noticed, even if you stick around. I think it's better to post on other people's threads (if you have something relevant to say), and after awhile as people get to know you better; you'll have more luck getting support from them.
 
S-6 was done to death a week after the spec II update. I think Mr p uploaded a clean lap months ago and most people got gold soon after and moved on, some did S6 for money and probably managed similar times but online money increased and S6 becomes forgotten.

If you posted it just after the spec II update you would of got a good response, but not 2 weeks ago. Also, learning the pattern and perfecting it is seen more like playing a mario type game, so I wouldn't be offended with a mute response.

It's a good lap time but it depends on how many times you attempted it really - it could of been on your first few tries but your far too late.

You can attempt to wow us in future, so no worries mate. :)👍

If you want my respect, earn it. Go up in the Arcade mode with some of your cars (any of your cars) and knock someone up there out of the top 10 spots. Better yet, go up and knock ME out of some top 10 spots. I've got a whole buch of them up in the both the Standard and Professional venues for ALL of the tracks in both the Acura NSX and the Alfa Romeo 147 - not because I like them or drive them well, but because they were the alphabetical cars in my garage. I've made the top 20 in every venue, though a few drivers have bumped me down a few spots in some of the venues. Better yet, knock me out of my first place spots - I'll applaud. But until you go get the top drivers knocked out of SEVERAL of the venues in the world RANKINGS, you're just another young gun standing in the middle of the street trying to get someone to come out into the street and have a gunfight on YOUR terms.

By the way, let us know if you get into the top 10 of ANY of the Arcade Time Trials venues, then we will ALL applaud. This way, EVERYONE is playing on the same playing field, with the same rules, with the same tools.

Good luck. I'll be watching for your name in the Time Trials RAnkings.

Hot lapping is only part of GT5P, and too big a part of it you ask me.

Upload a video of you driving and commentating, or a great race with a great finish and you'll get replies.

Because I see 3 replies there....pretty much the usual number for someone just posting a link to a video and going "check this time out!", especially so late after the game has come out.....most forum members have done with the offline mode a long time ago.

The activity in this forum you will note is mostly about online talk, hence why a thread about the offline events is not going to spark much discussion.

I'll understand your reply, and see your point, and I do agree about same playing field, and with doing timetrails..

About me showing up in 10 ranking, is only possible if I manage to doit in a shortwhile, Meaning.. I had a Hard Operation for about 1½ month ago in my backspine, and I'm still in recovering, can't do much hectic driving, because of muscles get annoid about moving shoulders.. But the morphin is cool :dopey:

But I do like the challenge, so of course I will try earning your respect by getting into the ranking.. But please be patient, I need some more time..;)

OK!! But i do think that the offline event's is as big a part of GT5 as Online .

(which isn't working 100% - usely 15% morons on the tracks-timetrails are working 100% so I'll show my self there from now on....)

Anyways This is How this awesome Forum is working, So I will be apart of It as it is from Now on.

This thread has got some good pointers for all new comers and even old members, because of what you all have replyed, so it wasn't a stupid thread afterall, I think lots of people got some good ideas from it ..

But i think you should remember that, people are buying PS3 and GT5p everyday, and the exitement they fill when finally get a hard Event finished and with a Good Tim e, they would like to tell it to the Community they are in, and to get response for it, good or bad, is forfilling..

I was the one to make the Video and to upload and too write the first thread, And why!! As Team member, i'll do these thing's only to feel the Action and the exitement of the Game and the community, No1infrestyle did the driving ( team Member), because I'm not that fresh yet, so it wasn't me driving ;) I will soon be more active with the driving, so hopefully i can get your respect that way :)

BUT!! Do we actually need a Sub Forum for Newcomers, so they/we also can feel the game, and the community's interest, then i guess we will be more equal, and on the same level/status - I don't know..

I still haven got that slightest idea of a good time on the S-6 event, could some one please direct me too it, is there a place here where i can see the times ? because for me, it's still a challenge if someone will like one, the event is awesome, one of the best IMHO in the offline part of Gt5p..

My Wife said to me last night, that i shouldn't do threads like these, when i'm also quiting cigarettes, ( 5 weeks) and on morphin and pains, hehe she could have point hehe..LOL

I've spend about 4 years on Richard burns rally forum doing lots of helping, mods, car skins, textures and helping with the Track editor, and the lack of reply's there was killing me, because of all that free hours i've spend for free, making stuff too people, so i guess that's one of the reason for me to also make this thread, SOrry i shouldn't compare this forum to that.. ;)

Last thing i will say..

Sorry for making you angry , mad confused, or just ? about this thread, my entention wasn¨t to do so, that's why i said, A little disapointed ;)

Yeah, that's the bottom line. GTP is like a city with multiple areas to hang out and loosely defined social codes (but strict rules) that define how this small society governs itself.

Until the 18th of July, there's only one Clock Challenge that matters... (For us in the EU area at least)
 
Ya I guess you're talking about the academy DK challenge :)

What is the best time ? last time I checked is about 4 days ago and I think it was about 1'21,4xx with the Nissan fairlady on the Eiger Nordwand track.

So I've been reading allot and You guy's inspire people allot with your discussions, good entertainment, and Good knowledge about real life Race driving and virtual Race driving, I don't even own a driver license, and I'm 46 (How cool is that hehe)..
