I see people listing cars with customized suspensions, gear ratios, etc. I have purchased FC trannies, etc. in game - Where do you go in game to actually MODIFY these items? I've only had the game about 2 days and have scoured the manual and can't see them anywhere.

You pick a track that you want to race at,and before the race you have a few options, one in which is to fix your car"set up".it looks like a red tool box.Click it and you are in the tool menu, from there you can set up your car with the things you have bought.

You go to settings just bsfore a race a click on the little wrench by the transmission settings area. It will the bring up a screen with gear ratios for all your gears. It is best to just change the prest at the bottom.

EDIT: You can also change you car settings after you click on your home at the first csreen hit start and it will take you to your car settings screen.

You're not an idiot. You just have to learn! :)

Just before entering a race (thru the steering whell icon), move your arrow on top of the red toolbox and press X... You will enter in the fabulous world of tuning! :dunce:

Or, go to your garage and get in the car you want to modify. Return to the main home screen (the one showing your car parked in the garage) and press the "Start" button on your controller. The settings screen opens.

Second edit: Never mind.

Never thought to look at all the options at the track. Thanks all.

Do cars KEEP those settings from track to track or do they need to be reset each time?

They'll stay with you.and you can have up to 3 different setups on each car, inside the setup menu :sly:
