Do you guys re-run races to get more cash?

I remember doing this back in GT2, and it completely ruined the game. I just re-ran and re-ran a race until I could get an awesome car. Then I'd kill the competition. I decided not to do that with GT3, and now I just keep getting stuck. I'll get to a point where I can only run one race, but my car is too slow to compete. It's really frustrating, and I think I'm going to have to restart the game again (3rd time in 2 days.) So what's your policy on re-running races... And I think half of my problem is that I sell the cars I win too much. I'm going to try and not sell any cars this time around...

Oh, and Gran Turismo 3 rocks. Well worth my 3 year wait (just got a PS2 and GT yesterday.) It's just killing me racing these slow cars though. I wanna drift!

I definitely had to keep re-running races to get my first Accord Euro-R in the game (it was my favorite car at the time). I don't think I could have gotten far without doing so. Eventually, I'm sorry to say to all the GT3 fanatics, I just couldn't help but to Gameshark the thing. Money mostly.

Oh, what car should I start with? I've done the Miata, and the Trueno. I think I'll do the Miata again because you win that CRX in the Roadster competition, and I can use that car to do the FF comp... Nevermind, I answered my own question.

The Maita is the best start car imo. You can re-run as many races in GT3 as you want, you don't win 50,000Cr + car worth 500,000Cr for 5 laps in GT3. I tend to re-run races just for fun now, if I feel like doing a quick series I'll jump into a 400Bhp car and race the DTC cup. Re-run as much as you want, you wont win the big bucks easy though you'll be looking at doing a 10 race series to get a decent car worth some decent cash (exept the Trueno shigeno version worth 175,000Cr, but that can only be done once.

Also, in the competitions that are all single races, not series races you only win the prize car once. If yopu win all the races again you don't win another car. Each time you win a series though you win a car, most series cups are 10 races and alot of them are 10 laps each race so re-doing them isn't a quick way of making Cr.

To begin with I re-ran races all the time, easy money IMO, later on in the game I didnt have as I was getting better with the cars, setups etc so I didnt have to

After I finished the game a mate of mine gave me a money injection up to 100,000,000 credits so I dindt have to worry about money again

Ive found the best races to get easy money in is either the German touring car series in the Amatuer league, 10,000 per win and a good chance of getting a race car out of it or the dream car Championship in the same league, 25,000 for each race and 150,000 for the championship bonus and a guaranteed race car for the bous car

I can't stand doing this over and over and over. I just want the fast cars. I'll get there. I just have to remember not to sell my prize cars as much.

Super speedway 150, you only win a race car there, with a shot of getting an F1

I think I'm gonna tweak this Mazda and do the endurance race for roadsters. That should get me some money and a car (I hope.)

It has to be a standard car there fella, only mods are tyres

I was aching for some dough myself recently, but I grabbed my Viper GTSR Concept and blasted through the PD cup since I wanted to get it out of the way (it's a real pain of a cup if you ask me)
I got myself 800,000 Cr and an F094/S to boot.

I restarted the game not too long ago, I gamesharked it for money the first time. Now I see what I mistake that was, since boy you can really feel the difference in the cars after you buy a part with your hard-earned money! :D 👍

Put the hardest tyres you can on the mazda and do the roadster endurance race. As long as you stay on the track, you should win it as the others cars should pit more. I think its £150k you get for that one.

In 1&2 I used to re-run the races and get up to like $1m and just buy a bunch of cars and all the parts. That got boring real fast so in 3 i usually try not to redo races so it gives you a good challenge.

I GT2 you could make 550,000Cr in one 5 lap race, GT3 has no stupidly fast money earners like GT2 had, the DTC is a nice easy cup to make money but if you win every race it's still only 80,000Cr, you can win the Astra touring car which is worth 245,000Cr I think, but thers a 1 in 4 chance of that and the other cars are all cheaper, the Amature dream car cup is a great one for re-racing, it's fun and you get good Cr for it and the prize car but it's 7 races at 5 or 7 laps a race so it's still nowhere near as quick as GT2 was.

Even if you get quick cash you will find it is very quick to go away...this could be because items such as super soft tires cost 42,000 instead of 18,000

...and dont forget those stage 4 turbo upgrades :D

re-run races until you can buy a lancer evo 7 GSR, then run the super speedway 100 endurance.........re-run.....re-run.....and there you go........easy money with 3 chances to win the F090/s as well......which only makes things much much more easier:tup::D
