Well, yesterday the FIA confirmed the calendar for 2003. The only date we were worried about was that for the first race, in Australia. See, the thing is, I'm best man at a wedding in Surrey (near London), on Saturday 1st March, so if the GP was that weekend, we couldn't go. But it's not, it's on 9th March. Confirmed.

So, as soon as I found out, I logged in to the Aus GP site, and bought my tickets. Jones stand, section D.

I'm so excited!

Yeh, you could drop by my house if you stopby at sydney airport. btw its the best airport in the world (no joking!!! :))

We haven't really got an itinerary at the moment. Just wanted to get the tickets organised!

Awesome! That's great, Giles - now you just have to hope to see the same kind of aerial maneuvers like we saw last year... :)

that's awesome!

Australia is one of the 2 GPs i'd like to attend the most, the other one being the Japanese GP.

which reminds me i still haven't ordered my tickets for the Canadian GP... first one i'd miss in 15 years?

Well the calendar's only just confirmed, so you have time to get your Canadian tickets. The Japanese GP is a different matter however, as it's traditionally sold out three years in advance...

Wow, is it really? I would think it would draw the least interest (it is a spectacular circuit, however), but then again, a certain someone's domination doesn't usually have the championship tied up so early on in the season...

By all accounts, the Japanese are potty for all motorsport, particularly F1. I don't think it matters to them that the championship is already won. Plus of course you have Honda (who own Suzuka), Toyota and Takuma Sato all involved now.

well, i must say with this year's Ferrari Fiasco, tickets are probably going to be more available for next year's races.

it used to be like that here, they'd sellout the next year's race less than a week after the said race. still not sure if i want to shell out the money and see the red cars play some games with themselves again, though.
