My dad and I have about 20 diecast cars. So my mom bought my dad and I a 48-car case 2 months ago, and it only holds 1:24th scale cars. That wouldn't be a problem, if our cars were all 1:24th scale. But they aren't. There aren't many cars I can find that are 1:24th scale, besides NASCAR diecasts. I already have 7 Nascar diecasts (6 cars and a truck) and I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find some 1:24th scale Lemans, F1, DTM, etc. cars. Even some nice street cars.

I'm kinda new at the diecast collecting stuff, so if you know any brand names I could look at, it would be appreciated. Thanks.

(Oh yeah, to clear things up, I'm looking for diecasts, not "do-it-yourself" models. I just don't have the time to do those...)

It should be actually easy to buy some 1/24th street cars. I have quite a few.

An EB110, 2 RT/10 Vipers, SRT-10, Z3, Z8, Countach, Boxster S, GTS, Z06, CLK-GTR, and a lot more.

However, Le Mans, F1, and DTM may be ones you'll have to end up ordering online. Stores usually don't carry them unless the store's main sells come from modeling. Anyways, street cars should be easy to find as small snap-ones from Maisto, and qood quality too. But lately, finding already put together street cars in 1/24th scale isn't that easy.

I say searching online is your best bet.

One site that I know carries a lot of diecast model cars is http://www.modelcars.com/ . http://www.ertltoys.com/ might also have some 1:24 scale cars. Either way, I don't know if you could find race cars, it will mainly be street cars. I only have a couple 1:24 scale cars and they are street cars. Anyway hope that helps and McLaren F1GTR is right, most likely you will have to buy them online.

I suggest AutoArt. They had a bunch in stock last time I checked. Alot of DTM Mercedes race cars, 👍

Thanks.

I saw a few on Ebay, but my dad changed the password to his Ebay account so I couldn't bid on anymore things. I spent about $130 in one weekend, but I was good for it. I'm down to about $30 now, but I probably could've won the car. It was only $15, but it was in the UK, and shipping...I didn't even want to see that cost.

It's probably more than you want to spend, but how about a GMP 1/24 Buick Regal GNX? From the pictures that I've seen, it's like they took a ray gun and shrunk a real one down to size.

Yeah, I've seen some of the GMP cars. But they are wayyy out of my price range. I saw a GT40 they had. It was something near $400! They do some great and very detailed cars, but for that price, I'd rather have a derby car and go have fun with that!
