Im New and have questions

Hi, Im new and have several questions. Ive trawled through and couldnt find the answers (maybe Im a bit thick).

First, there seems to be a limit on Items and Cash but I cant find out what these limits are? Anyone know?

Second, Ive read about people leaving it on 'A-spec autogrind overnight' to generate cash. Ive no idea what this is but it sounds like b spec.

Third, Ive just tried to do a remote race from my work PC, Ive set everything up correctly but the start race button is greyed out and i think this is because there is only my driver in the race. does this mean that I need more than 15 online friends before i can do a remote race? I only have one online friend. How do i get more friends (god that sounds a bit sad)

fourth, where is the trading cars bit on my GT interface?

Sorry if these questions are a bit dumb, if ther is a help thread which answers all these, please point me to it.

1. 2000 cars is max, 20.000.000 Credits is max. Not sure how many paints and gears you can have.

2. A-spec grind is using rubberband to control your throttle and steering with the X1 at Indy.

3. Can't answer this, as I never do remote races.

4. Make sure you are connected to the internet, go to your garage, find a car, press Triangle, select Gift car, select a friend from your friends list.

So when it comes to trading, no only are you relying on trust but you also have to wait a day to recieve what you are trading for?

I got the impresion there was a more formal trading feature?

PD ought to have set up an Auction/ trading facility similar to Fifa's Ultimate team.

You can do it with only one friend, but you and that friend need to have uploaded at least one B-Spec driver to be used online.
To do that you need to go to your drivers list and click on the driver or drivers you want to use in your races and select "share with friends"

Part 2: Yes you pretty much have to go on trust. When you send someone a car they get it instantly but you are limited to only sending one car a day, and the value of the car has to be under 1,000,000 credits.

There isn't really any sort of trading feature in GT5, yet.
Yes, you rely on trust when gifting cars/tickets/items to others.

No, you don't have to wait a day to recieve what you are trading for.
It usually takes just a minute or two from sending it.

Note, that you can only send 1 car/ticket pr PS3 pr day. Trading reset time is 00:00 GMT.

Most members here on GTPlanet are good and trusted traders though.
Drop by The marketplace for more info.

One other thing about trading, there is a 1 mill limit on trading cars/tickets!
Some standard cars worth 950.000+ Cr. may not be traded as their new value would most likely be over 1 mill.

As for the auction house, I totally agree (Don't know how Fifa's work, but I really like Steam's).

7000 is the limit on the number of items you can have. Museum cards are not included in this total.

I think you can remote race w/ only just 2 bspec bobs in the race... but that's such a waste of resources! If you're going to do that add me! I'll be your friend, and my bobs will be happy to race w/ yours. :D

Anyhow, yes, they really ought to pin a thing in the marketplace about all the caps & limits. There are many. 20 million credits, 1 gifting of a car/car-ticket per ps3 per day, and some kind of cap on items & paints per account per day. A few thousand paint chips, so many items, only so many cars, etc.
Gets kind of confusing.
