Hello, quite some time ago, I bought the game Gran Tourismo 3, as probably most of you did. I played and enjoyed it for quite some time, and still do. Way before even buying the game, I discovered this great site and lots of the videos, which got me even more interrested in the game and particularly drifting in GT3. A few months back, I was first learning to drift, and even though I never really became good at it, I purchased a capture video card, in hopes of making great drift vids like you guys on this site make. A few months passed by, and I finally purchased a Radeon TV-Wonder capture card on ebay for $50. Biggest mistake I ever made, because this card is absolute crap with my system, or may-be its just a defective card, but whenever I start capturing anything, the whole program freezes completley and it doesnt even respond to end tasking. The card is basically only good for watching TV on the comp; however, even that is quite buggy.
After this incident I pretty much gave up on capturing GT3, and drifting GT3 all together, and the card just sat (and still sits) in the PCI slot of my comp. Now, 4-6 months after, due to boredom I got back into the whole GT3 drift thing, and Im finally starting to get the hang of it (after reading a bunch of informative posts here, and watching ShadowDrifter's tutorial video).
This is where my quesiton comes in - any of you guys have this same video card, and may-be know some ways to fix my problem, because Im not about to go spend another $50 on another capture card just to get bored of drifting and give up again.
Thanks for any help, and I hope I can make this my new home.
Also, I have one video of me [attempting] to drift taken with a video camera (came out pretty good actually), but I need to find a place to host it....
