But it seems on Two occasions i've screwed up

One was when I posted a Book for Sale in the Marketplace . then found out I wasn't supposed to via message left in My GTPlanet Page . I did apologise for that .

Secondly I had a thread locked as it was deemed a Double Posting . To be honest I didn't realise I had posted the same thing twice .

So i've been reading through the Site Feedback Section just to see how things lay as I don't wish to continue making mistakes on here as its a Great Site .

So can a Moderator when they have time explain to me how the Points System Works (either in here or Via PM( and more importantly have I got any due to the Above Mistakes ?

Thanks .

I'm going to assume you're referring to Infractions?

If so, you can check and see if you have any (or warnings as well) by clicking on the "My GTPlanet" link in the yellow box, upper right-hand corner. Points are issued based on the offense, and can be valued appropriately...the maximum you can receive is 30 which results in an instant ban, but the general outline is "3 strikes and you're out.", that's assuming you get three Infractions worth 10 points a pop. If you've gotten a warning, it's nothing more than a reminder and/or a nudge in the right direction. Generally speaking, you'll only receive an infraction if you're a repeat offender, or are completely oblivious to the AUP - which you don't seem to be so you should be fine in the long run. 👍

You currently do not have any points. If you do, you will know about it - the system automatically dispatches a private message from the moderator who issused the warning or the infraction to you. We will explain why it was issued, and make suggestions on how you can correct the behaviour in future. In order to avoid infractions and warnings, I suggest you look at the forum rules, otherwise known as the Acceptable Use Policy. So long as you observe AUP in all its forms, you will not receive any warnings or infractions.

Warnings are usually issued for first-time offences, though depending on the severity of the rule violation, you may get an expiring or a permanent infraction straight away. As Terronium-12 pointed out, most infractions are worth ten points, though moderators can customise the infraction to suit each case if need be.

and about nude pictures... I know nude content is allowed on GTPlanet, but what is the limit? AUP doesn't say anything about it.
It seems that the unwritten rules are:
1. Full frontal.
2. Nipples (this includes through fully or partially transparent clothing).
3. Genital areas.

and is there any difference between post in The Infield or another area on the forum? just curious, thanks.

Liz:

the AUP
You will not post or link to content that is obscene or sexually oriented.

Unofficial Rules for Posting
NO SEX - or at least minimize it. If you can't see it at a public beach, you shouldn't post it here. And refer to Rule #1 and #2 before you post anything sexual in nature. Klos' joke about Britney's bra size was inoffensive and really funny. The discussion of oral sex that followed it was totally inappropriate for a public forum. It only takes a moment of thought to see the difference.

These should help. Full nudity is not really acceptable. Standards are slightly looser in the Premium forum, but only a little, due to the restricted user group. There is nothing permissable there that is not permitted elsewhere; it is really a matter of degree.
