Yep, in about 3.5 hours we will be going to Burbank airport to take the 2:20 flight to Las Vagas, non stop. Wel will get there around 3 and get our rental car. woo.

We're staying at the Flamingo. It seemed kinda nice. But i cant wait to go to the Shara to try out those simulators :D. We going to be staying untill friday.

This is going to be so much fun. w00t. :p :D

You'll love it there. The best city I've ever been to in my opinion. Try to go to the Luxor if you can. You should love that too. Although I'm a bit partial being that I'm an Egypt freak. Even the rooms are Egyptian, it's awesome. Have fun!

Now that this is your opinion...

Just kidding - but seriously, Las Vegas isn't anything near what it's cracked up to be by this posse - you guys are crazy.

What's so bad about it? And it better be something more then you complaining about hookers, and "sin".

Compared to what everybody says about it, it is literally the most boring place on Earth against actual cities like New York and London. If you're a foreign traveler and you're coming to America, do not waste your time on Las Vegas - it isn't worth it. Go somewhere you'll enjoy yourself like New York or Washington - even LA is better.

The city's main sources of income are gambling and taxes, it has one of the largest Yuppie populations of anywhere in the US (certainly the largest by percentage - except maybe Seattle, those bastards) and it's nowhere near anything exciting - after two days in Las Vegas, you get bored then there's 300 miles to LA and that's the closest source of fun (unless you consider Joshua Tree fun which I do but the majority of tourists don't).

I wouldn't go as far as to say there's nothing good about Las Vegas - it's very non-polluting and it doesn't have many bad neighbourhoods by virtue of the way it was developed - so it's a good place to live - but from a tourist's standpoint, it isn't worth your time unless you find yourself passing through - certainly isn't worth an entire vacation.

Um, Las Vegas is kinda like, flooded right now... (check the news).

It's so far northwest of Las Vegas that I'm surprised they even call it Las Vegas on the news. Incompetent newspeople.

I am, but I'm busy these days - I teach a few classes over at the UNLV until 2 PM, I come on here until 4 or 5, then I'm busy the rest of the evening. I'm taking the day off and leaving Friday morning for New York, also.
