I'm P1 @ Tokyo (GT Mode), but is this still "on course"?

I ran a 1:08.980 at Tokyo R246, and submitted for "Verification", but I wanted to see if I broke the (2) wheel rule on one of the chicanes. I "never" hit the walls on this lap, and never is there a time where all 4 wheels are "outside" the painted kerbs. However I don't know if this would be considered an "Off". If it is, I'd like my time removed. I'd rather avoid being "banned" over a technicality.

The "move" was't to "cut time", but more of an intstance of me coming in too hot for the corner and just trying to salvage the lap. If executed correctly, I would have carried about 10mph more through the chicane (I have before) and possibly cut another .1-.2 seconds off the final time. I'll run it again...when the g/f let's me. :)

Both images indicate a legal run by any OLR/database standard, however for verification, you'll need to provide a replay of the lap.

I've "submitted" for verification (i.e. - provided ID#, email addr., etc.) for all my times (Apricott Hill, Midfield, Tokyo, and Grand Valley), but at this point do I wait for a moderator to "ask" for the replay files? Or was I supposed to send them somwhere/to someone at "submittal" time?

I wasn't sure about that either, so I just hosted the replay on my site, and replied to my verification thread with a link to the file.

Don't know if they'll accept it, but seems to be the most simple way.

Go into the Verification forum.

Start a thread, titled descriptivally (My car @ Apricot Hill, etc)

Attach your replay to the post (.max, .sps, .xps only, please)

I don't know if you can attach multiple replays to one post, or if you can add additional posts to a thread...if not, start a new thread for each additional replay.

A Verification Committee member will download your replay and review it. If the replay passes, Jordan will be notified to update your time entry to Verified status.

Is this separate from the post that is created after clicking "Unverified"? Or should I just create a new one? Thanks for your help. 👍

Now if I can just figure out how to tell which file is for which replay. :irked:

O.k., I uploded my replay files to my site and posted the links in a "Reply" to the threads in the "Verification Forum". The threads have been up for a few days, but the links to the replays are from today. My question now is are those private threads reviewed regularly, or do I need to notify someone that the replay files are now available?

I don't see where your replays are. I'd be happy to check them and see if they are clean, but I checked in the Verification Forum and there is nothign there .

Hmmm...this is odd. You're saying you can see, in the Verification Forum, threads generated by your previous requests for verification?

The only thread I see in that Forum is Verification Submissions, which I posted a couple of days ago.

If you can't see that thread, and I can't see yours, then there is obviously a bug with the site code. The way it's supposed to work is that when you fill out the Verification request form, a thread is supposed to be generated, which you, and only you, can then reply to to attach a replay. You are also supposed to be able to create a thread, which once again you and only you, can reply to, attaching a replay if you so desire.

Supposedly, anyone can view a thread (or maybe only Verfication Commitee members and Admins/Mods?), but only the original poster may post replies to the threads.

If any Moderators/Admins read this post, can you please verifiy whether you can see any threads in the Verification Forums?

I can see Verification Submissions as a sub-forum of the Leaderboard Forums, but there are no threads in it.

I can see my, and only my, original posts (4), and I replied with the links to the replay files for each post.

Sorry to be slow on the ball here, but this does look like a serious bug. LVC members are supposed to be able to see all threads, as well as mods and admins, and then individual users can only see their own threads that they sbumitted. I will look into this immediately. Sorry for the confusion, everyone!

Wouldn't it be best to have all users allowed to see the threads that others create? That way you would get more people viewing the replays, and someone might catch an illegal run. The best reason for having this option is that we can all view the replays of some awesome laps :D 👍.

...and have you guys get the "Cliff Notes" on how to pick up those extra tenths, when others had to put in a serious time and effort? No way!

:p

That would indeed seem to be the case. I've started threads for NUMEROUS Verifications as far back as April 21st but have YET to be contacted asking for my replays? ...O.G. :D

Just so you all know, this little piece has been sorted out.

Jordan had programmed everything in there correctly, save for three clicks on three different members. That was found and the verification members can see and review the posts.

A regular member can only see a thread that they started in there. That's why it appears that there are no threads in there. Iceman can look at it, but he'll only see threads he's created.

It's sorted out now, and we're working our way through all of the verification replays.

You are P2 now. :D

My T times:

T1 - 0'10.554
T2 - 0'36.864

T3 - 1'06.736

Btw i can down 0.5 more i guess, a 1'05.9 is the limit im sure. And im even more sure that i won´t never more get that 1'04.8 from GT3 again, as this F1 is not as fast as the mythical F094/S is, and used to be. :indiff: :guilty:

I'm still waiting for my 1:07.xxx to be verified...I fat fingered my replay file and had to re-submit. Either way, that is a beast of a time.
