Import Games on US PS2

I was wondering what I need to have in order to play import PS2 games on my US system (I don't want to mod it), will a Gameshark or Action Replay do? Also can someone please provide some links to sites which sell import games. I'm mainly looking for foreign racing games, like Initial D and GT Concept.

Japanese titles? You may want to get a Japanese PS2 and a Japanese television. That's the only way to be sure it will work.
