I don't think it is possible to do with a sharkport. What I ended up doing was buying brand new, pre-modded PS2. I knew that I wanted it to have a magic chip, but I heard those chips had boot problems, so instead of modding the PS2 I already had, I just got a new on that was already modded, and I just use it to play import games. Or you could just get a Japanese PS2, but they seem to cost more than a modded one, and they can't play PAL games. if you want to find them just check on ebay, and if you are lucky someone might be selling the rare white PS2 that they sold in the UK, that plays all games without being modded only 666 of them were made. I want to get one of those.
