I just want that Holden cartruck thing and a bit of supercharger and id be happy.

Also has handlebars rather than a steering wheel! It's basically a scooter with a couple of extra wheels and a box on the back.
 
Most likely a Suzuki Cappuccino or a Renault 5 turbo (the mid engined one) or perhaps a Giacattilo (mid engined holden V8 powered alfa sprint) rare but awesome
 
Most people in the UK who import an American car go for Mustangs, Corvettes, Chargers etc. Once, I would have joined them given the chance, but lately I've been turned by the idea of owning one of these, in black:

Canadian Pontiac G5 GT, just for the heck of it. Although, on second though, the US Chevy Cobalt SS N/A was pretty much the same car with a different badge.

There are some people with questionable sanity that have imported mustangs IIs or Firebirds with the straight 4.. and speaking of rubbish, I've always kinda liked to have a Gremlin :scared:

Any of the current "Hot" Renaults would be cool to have.
 
I'll add myself to the list of people that wants an Alfa-Romeo 159, and the Brera as well. The old Citroen CXs are really cool - nothing like going all the way with weird! Also, it would be incredibly cool (in its own weird way) if I could get my hands on one of those old Russian ZiL limousines - those things are pretty utterly unique (and hard to find, unfortunately). A euro-spec Ford Focus RS would be pretty neat as well.
 
Wouldn't mind a Subaru R1 STi too bad they can't be imported into Aus

FPV I can understand, but didn't Canada get the Pontiac G8 like America did? That's the exported version of the VE Commodore.

Of course sourcing a Holden front bumper would be a little more difficult but still.

And I though that I saw that Holden after school, turned out it was the G8.
The Holden just looks like a better car when compared to the Pontiac.
 
I suppose. I actually prefer the Pontiac grille to the Holden one but they never teamed that grille with the Holden front bumper which I prefer over Pontiac's.

The new FPV GT's even better in terms of out-and-out straight-line performance (449hp supercharged Coyote 5.0) but it doesn't really inspire confidence with the handling compared to HSV's venerable GTS.

I still don't really know why Ford Australia never exported the Falcon or its FPV variants though. Would have made for even more competition with General Motors.
 
Yeah, I would love to see those Fords around here.
I would think that the market would be big enough, we do like large sedans with power.

Well the Charger/300 became quite popular, so there is a market.
