Crash with a transparent car! Have any of you guys ever crashed with a slower car that is one lap (or more) behind you? That happened to me yesterday evening @ HSR 800pp expert event. I was leading by ~1.5 secs, but on a lap #2 I crashed with a car that was parked in the middle of the tunnel. It was transparent at the time, and I'm 100% sure I was leading. That also caused 5 sec penalty for me. So what happened?

I was driving tuned Corvette, stagnant car was Amuse S2000.

Yes I have had this happened to me before, what I believe will have happened is that the guy in the Amuse will have quit the race, but it can take a while to remove a car and I think this causes a bug where although transparent you can still make contact with the car, I would guess that this is because the car is no longer registered in the race and yet physically it is still there. I always try to avoid other cars, even the transparent ones, that way this won't happen. Sometimes however you can't avoid them, it's just bad luck really.

It happened again 10 minutes ago, and your theory seems to be correct. Car disappeared few seconds after the collision.

Two times in a day makes me wonder if there is people who makes this on purpose? I wouldn't be surprised. 👎

I doubt they do it on purpose, they just quit without any thought of how it will effect anyone else, like when people quit while host. If you really HAVE to quit you should pull over out of the way, of course most don't bother and just quit, leaving their car driving itself for a few minutes until it is removed.
