This video is pretty impressive, on how long he waits before starting the race. BTW, did anyone ever notice, the the curbs on Trial mountain for GT1 really threw you in the air compared to the other tracks in the game?

Yeah, it was pretty impressive. And I do know what you mean by the kerbs lauching your car up in the air. They seem to be a lot more viloent than the other circuits. Deep Forest isn't bad on the kerb subject, simply because it dosn't really have any anyway, apart from on the first and last corner. Do you think the car sounds like an F1 car. I do!

It sounds BETTER than an F1 car, and about as fast, too! The driver had impressive control over his car even when it broke loose.

And, the kerbs: I think most race cars had very stiff suspension (those cars were modified), but even still, it was PD's first GT game.

I know the issue with Trial Mountain still persisted in GT2, but was fixed in GT3 and onward. That first left turn bump, and the last 'S' turn on the track where you'd see the Start/Finish line would give major air to anything.

I loved Deep Forest for it's wide 180 degree turn. I remember pulling the emergency brake and gassing through the turn in harmony. In GT2 my favorite car to do that was with the Dodge Charger (old).

Yep, that car was just wicked. I don't think I used it more than 3 times max.

I used it a lot...after I beat the game. Didn't really want to "cheat" by using it.

Did anyone else notice that the starting and ending music was from GT2, not GT1?

I'm like that sometimes. Like in TDU once, I had just brought a Lamborghini Murchielagio, and I muted the music because I loved the engine sound so much!

TDU engine sounds don't vary much. Still a cool game though.

...although I never remembered the Dodge Concept Car LM being THAT deep a shade of purple...

Could be your monitor. It can also be the persons recorder, if they're color profile settings are off.

They really threw you good. :) It's cool how your concept car gets on 2 wheels all the time...I miss that. :)
