Need help tuning with the mid range turbo. With Stage 3 turbo I have 542HP and have gotten 1/4 time down to 9.928 at SSRX. However when I go to mid range turbo with 545HP my best time is 10.006. I notice it makes its peak horsepower 1000rpm lower than bigger turbo. Do I set tranny up with higher top speed? My top speed is 152 top right corner with Stage 3 turbo. Flipped trans

Stick with the stage 3 turbo. 3hp more isn't gona make a OMG! Difference. Top time on that is 9.919 so your pretty close
 
I don't have the RM but fwiw I ran a faster time using the mid from the high.

I'm at work right now :/ I wish I could be more informative.

Btw did you do a normal flip? From my experience these sti's don't like a normal flip. You have to tune for your 1st instead of 6th.
 
i could never get it myself till i had it explained to me.
set all your gears like a normal flip for around 153mph. then stretch 6 out to about 163-165. shift at 7.5k

viper got his rm to 9.91x and his 05 to 10.07 doing this method.

to accommodate for lower shifting points longer gears would be needed and really itd be slower as extended gears are almost needed for a high turbo.
 
When i did 9.919 i used high revs turbo but i shifted 500-600rpms after max power to achieve that time and timed my launch

All my runs were more than 1.62 and time was under 9.95 all the time
Try to fix suspension and try 45/55 for torque distribution
