in 2P mode, how do you watch a single big replay, instead of 2 simulataneous smalls?

I'm playing 2P mode, and the replay shows up as two split screen replays at the same time. Isn't there a button or option or something to make the replay show up as just one big screen replay?? I remember there was a button to press in the last Gran Turismo?
 
In GT3 you had to press the start button and go to replay options and there u can change into one screen. try that ;)
 
Yeah, I remember that, too. Been a while since I've played 2P in GT3, though. As I remember it, it would try to show both cars on-screen at the same time, if they were close together. Otherwise, it would just cut back and forth between them.
 
MPower - Probably. But I once again harken back to Reason #2 why I didn't import: No muddling through Japanese menus. :)

You'll probably just have to wait until we get a version of the game that people here can read.
 
In previous GTs if you cycled through the views with X, making the same number of presses on both controllers, then after 3 or so on each controller you got the full-screen view (IIRC). Though it has been a while I must admit, so I could be wrong :) .

I also don't remeber it precisely, but I do remember that switching to a specific view in both halfs of the screen gave you one big screen with both cars in GT3. I haven't found that in GT4 yet though, in splitscreen we've always had two separate screens until now. :indiff:
 
Just try pushing buttons until something happens.

It could also be that the process involves using both controllers somehow...
 
MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmgrrr this is driving me insane, two of my most favorite things in GT are GONE, these kind of options are the only things that keep you comming back to play for the months and years it takes for the new version to come out. BAD BAD BAD BAD Sony. I vote for these couple of things (and garage cars in 2p mode) to be changed for the PAL release even if it means delaying it another week. Please : )
 
Even though I've known about this for nearly a week, I still can't believe it. It's definitely not an issue with the graphical power of the system because B-spec uses something even more complex. I just don't freaking get it!!

you 've got my vote. A full screen replay has always been in GT and is one of the main qualities of the game. I can't see why they would leave that option out in muktiplayer!
