In-car Cameras

Alright do any of you have experience with these? I really want to get one for the Teckademic's style movie that me and my friends are working on. Plus I think I could get some pretty sweet pictures with them, but I don't know how well they work. The videos are fairly convincing on the site, but I was wondering if I could get some first hand experience.

A kid who races near me in his 2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V uses a custom made aluminum arm mounted to the base of the seat. The camera is attached at the top, adjacent to the headrest... The only problem with a car cam like that would be that it may pick up extra vibration being mounted to the seat, and it may also pick up a lot of ambient noise from inside of the car.

Well I want to mount it on the out side of the car from time to time.
