In Car View Easier than other cameras??

Why does it seem everytime I do a challenge and choose the "In-Car" view, the race seems easier. This got real blatant as I was doing the Super License challenges. I am able to go into certain corners quicker, and the AI seems to get out of my way instead of side-swiping/bumping me when i make a pass.

At first I thought it was probably the field-of-view offering a quicker way to pick race-lines.... But after many times comparing the two, it really does seem to be faster from the "In-Car" view.

It seems like they give you a break for choosing the hardest camera and make passing easier amongst other things. It seems like you aren't penalized (I.E. disqualified) for bumping as easy when you're in this camera mode, whereas when I'm using bumper cam, a slight rub of the AI disqualifies me.

Like I said, not sure if it's truly a game aspect, or just the physicality of having a different field of depth that makes it easier. Any thoughts?
 
Impossible, they can't simply change the AI on the fly when you hop in to a different camera mode.

Actually, they quite easily could.

I highly doubt that they do though.
 
I phrased that badly, but what I meant was it would be stupidly impractical.
 
I normally use the old inside view where you see nothing but the road.

Some cars ill use the cockpit view depends on how much i can see. lol
