I'm about 60 percent through on my second go around, and I sold a prize car that can only be achieved by winning a certain race that happens to be a single series. I tried re-racing the 3 singles and no prize car. I was just going to start over on a new mem card. any ideas?

Start on a new memory card. Get the car you want and then buy it back onto your current game.

Slick6 is right. The easiest way for you to regain that car, is to start on a new memory card, and buy it back to your current game as soon as you win it.
