you know all the mods you can do to increase the hp, in what order do you apply them? for example would it make any difference if i stage 4 turboed my car as a first mod, or after other hp mods? because i want to get the most hp out of my cars.

Gurdas,

The order that you apply the mods does not make any difference. Each mod as a certain percentage increase attached to it. For example, adding the computer chip to a car may increase the horsepower 10%. It doesn't matter if the car is at (base) 100 hp or modified @ 200 hp. You would add 10 hp on the base car, or 20 hp on the modified car.

Yeh, he's right, the percentage increase remains the same no matter if your car is at 100, or even 1000bhp, the kits will still up-power by the same amount...

I worry about handling first. Full-race suspension, medium tires, then a race tranny, then I go back and mod up the motor.

Cindy on your avatar is well HOT :fdevil:......... Wouldn't mind her lying naked on the bonnet of my :gtr:.....lol

As for the bhp doesn't matter but always buy the Top Turbo don't start with the smaller one and move up as thats just pointless....

And remember changing the Oil Increases bhp on a new car...

:uk: Yea UK flag on Smilies now the US :USA: and UK guys can all post in proudness of their country..... nice one Jordan...

Welllllll, actually, it's not. If you read the descriptions, you'll see that different stage turbos have different characteristics beyond simple horsepower. Some of them move the hp peak so high up in the rev band that you lose low-end torque. I presonally don't go with the higher-stage tubos, because of the loss of low-end acceleration. For the speedway courses, yes, but not for tight and twisties.

Remember: Horsepower sells cars, but torque wins races.

Uhmm if it was like that race cars would have engines from those 40 ton 18 wheel trucks... It's not that simple... a good car with all the good features plus a good driver and some luck , then you can win a race... both hp and torque are important , as is the powerband , smoothness of the engine , handling , grip , air-drag , weight , settings and millions of other bigger or smaller things...

Just buy all of the horsepower mods, then when you are just racing for fun you can detune the car so you have a more interesting race against the AI cars.

Like some people said, Id do the suspention, and wieght reduction first, then get some nice tires, and last worry about HP.
