It can be worth it -- but mostly for street cars, in my experiences. Some race cars may work well with this modification (guess it depends on what you like), but I haven't been any faster with a rigidity modification on a race car yet from what I can tell.

It's a little on the extreme side, but I like to get duplicates of certain cars to test the differences with this modification as it has made a few of them handle worse than before.

I guess if you have the money, you can experiment with it and see what works for you.. just gets expensive at times.

Rigidity refresh depletes from your car after about 800km of usage, and you'd find your car not being able to corner as well as before.

Rigidity refresh helps to fix this problem... or at least to me it does.

From my observations, driving without the rigidity refresh option marked feels quite similar to running on a set of tires one grade lower than you are actually using.

Yes, it's definitely worth it if you are trying to win a hard fought race. The only problem is that it's really expensive, and you'll be looking at the same expense 400 kilometers later.

I just noticed that Kydephron (or something similar) says that it is 800 kilometers. I base my 400 kilomters due to the fact that I took my dodge ram with 500 something kilometers on the odometer to the dodge modification place and it was unchecked. Maybe some cars can go longer, while other cars can't (the ram is a pig so maybe that explains the low numbers).

I wonder if anybody has different experiences.

It really helps to stablize the car at high speeds. Try taking an LMP to the Testcourse with 4000 odd KM on the odometer, no body refresh and it just sways from side to side.

As it is a rigidity refresher, for the chassis, may i suggest that perhaps if one regularly smacks ones vehicle into the barriers and opposition, the chassis may require a little tweak sooner than say someone who more often than not just races time trials or drives for the fun of it with minimal collisions.

It would make sense.

Probably not, letdown, seeing as GT4 doesn't have damage.

Some people seem to confuse Refresh Chassis (Which returns to cars stiffness like it was new), with Increased Rigidity (which adds a rollcage and thus stiffens the car).

The Increase Rigidity option is definitely worth it. However, be careful if you decide to put it on your car. I've heard some members say that the Increase Rigidity option locks your car in the position it's in. If your car is in need of chassis refresh, do the refresh first, THEN the Increase Rigidity. If you do it vice versa, you've locked the car into a worn out state.
