I found this link on another forum, I was amazed. Everything was done by the owner himself except the paint. I myself am a purist and would like to keep a car as stock looking as possible but I respect all the effort he put towards this car! The rear end might be a little questionable looking but, you have got to give this guy some props for all this work. If you think NSX's couldn't look anymroe exotic then damn, look at this. If you wanna skip all the progress pics, go to page 8 for the finished pictures!

I'm not 100% on the rear, but it's not completely hideous as I thought it would be. NSX widebody kit's usually look awesome because they tend to replicate the looks of the GT cars.

If he had kept the original rear cluster it would have been awesome though, because I just love the look of the nsx's rear end combined with a diffuser.

Also holy crap I didn't know the nsx's engine was mounted transversely. Is that crazy ZZII the only Japanese mid engined car not to have a transversly mounted engine?

The only thing I'm not sure on is the lights, they're off a Cobalt but they scream Ferrari too much and don't really match the car that well imo but I have a lot of respect for someone that can take the time and care needed to to build a car like that. It's not like some kid who's bought a £600 bumper for his £300 Corsa and just stuck it on.

EDIT: Sorry for the double post, thought I'd pressed the edit button.

Very nice and tidy - not too OTT. Not too keen on the rear lights, and the rear end looks a bit fat - the bumper and vents look a bit huge - but otherwise looks good. The front and sides are gorgeous.

So many things wrong with this car. Such as: why add a rear quarter panel to a car that didn't come with one? Why add a rear window vent that clearly connects to nothing? What is with the huge fron splitter if the car has what appears to be a stock rear spoiler? Why the double side intakes?

Ya I'm not exactly big on what he did to the car, but you gotta admit. You have to give the guy kudos for his fab skills.

I agree the quality is damned good, no gaps or anything usually associated with NSX conversions. And it certainly looks like he put a lot of time and effort into it. But it just seems...wasted. I will give him points for not simply making his own Ferrari out of it though.

The one thing I found the most questionable is how he barely touched the engine of the car.

Too much going on on the body. Too many scoops, intakes, lines, indentations, etc. Plus, what is with the huge carbon fiber (looking) board under the front end? That thing is freaking hideous.

His fab skills are excellent, too bad he didn't use them for the forces of good.

Ahh, yet another finely-modifed example of Honda's comitted supercar.
The craftmanship looks unrivaled, not to mention how well each part contemplates it's original design. Also, the wheels fit under the guards amaingly well.
The only minor query I'd have about this car is perhaps the gorgeous rims, as they simply scream 'Look, Ferrari!'

Nevertheless, it's a greatly crafted machine which is rather rare these days going.

Much kudos to the owner.

Great craftsmanship, but I'm not feeling the choice in modifications. A custom widebody kit, with some odd tail lights, a non-functional roof scoop, incorrect ride height and camber (note the tail sag), some mismatched rims (too low of an offset on the front, while too large of one in the rear), and a huge lack of performance upgrades to match the body styling.

I agree with all of the comments here about the excellent craftsmanship. 👍

I also agree that not all of it was put to good use. :indiff:

Personally, I think this car would be greatly improved if he still had Acura or Honda badges on the front and rear, left the headlights alone, left the taillights alone, kept the amber and red side reflectors, kept the original parking lights in the front bumper, and had the roof scoop continue all the way down the rear window (even if it wasn't functional). If he had done all of those things, it would be a positively sweet-looking car. If he had also actually upgraded the engine and such, it would be even better. ;)

I agree on the taillights there, the original NSX taillights really give this feeling of: "No, you don't wanna mess with me! :trouble:"

Everything aft of the intakes seems a bit akward. The rear is dangerously close to looking like a ferrari:irked:. I do think the intoke on the roof is pretty cool, though.

I must say, he did do a good job of converting an old style NSX w/ popups to a new one with the exposed lights. Incredibly clean job.

Here may be the strongest point of the car. Compare it to other riced out things. This looks so much better than those, um, things. Not sure that car be contested much. That car could be much much worse.

As said, the craftsmanship is terrific. However, the wheels, small split, and brake lights easily tell this guy wanted Ferrari F430 looks.
