So my Pcars 1 road course setup transfers over well. I have good times on the road courses. I can't seem to figure out the setup for Indy. Only in the high 40s without push to pash (which doesn't exist in real life). Anyone have tips or maybe a setup I can use. The gear ratios seem to be the most important and I just can't figure them out. Thanks guys.

Sorting the gear ratios out in this game is such a pain compared to the first due to the lack of sliders IMO. So much easier to adjust when you can actually see where on the scale any individual gear is and not just have some numbers to play around with.

I agree! Car feels okay just topping out and I know there's way more.

There's a few backward steps in the interface. How are you getting on with fuel loads? As far as I can see the only way you can estimate fuel is to practice a full race distance. The old estimate needs to find it's way back in. It was never right, but at least you had a fair chance on a random public lobby race.

I did some laps on full fuel. Feels fine and lap times are more realistic. In Q trim I just can't seem to figure the ratios out. I trim it out and put low fuel in but top at 229.

I had a similar issue with the formula x. No matter what I did it kept giving me short ratios. I had to use the race engineer in the end and saved to a different set up.

Gear ratios aren't terribly difficult to figure out I don't think. Put fifth and sixth gear an extra click to the right.

I personally have not. What wheels are being used?
I'm using T300 with Ferrari F1 rim. I've tested again and the same happens - no FFB until I touch the wall or other car...!? Vibrations feedback from the track works fine :confused::confused:

I've seen a lot of people complaining about a lack of feedback with the T300. No idea why it has issues.

I've seen it as well but ffb is really good on all other tracks. It's just oval tracks. Will do more testing with different cars and tracks. Also just thought about changing FFB from "raw" to "informative".

The IndyCar on the road courses are literally perfect. Zero complaints.

Just go to the Time Trial and take the setup from the fastest ghost lap. Then you can take that base and use it as is or tinker with it to your liking. Easy.

I tried doing that but couldn't save he setup. Do you have to add the ghost to the time trial?
