indy 500 strategy

can anyone help me out how to win in indy 500?? i have FGT and MINOLTA .
which one is better? and also the strategy of changing drivers and fuelling strategy.. or if i start the game can i just leave it?? or if you dont mind this question how many hours this indy 500 will spend?? thanks a lot commentors!! i hope you will help me..chasing for xp and redbull x1!! :)
 
Are you talking A-Spec or B-Spec? You mention drivers so I'm not sure.

In the FGT it will take at least 2hrs. Perhaps 2 1/2. Stick on racing tires and just pit when you need fuel. You'll be way ahead of the A.I. so don't worry about Pit strategy.

If you need to take a break, when you pit you can suspend the race - this saves the game, then you can leave back to main PS3 menu and turn off the game/PS3. This works with A and B-Spec both.

b spec... question... if the drivers phy and mental will be low does it affects th race?

That only really has an effect on their chances of making mistakes - on an oval course like Indy there cornering will not suffer enough to make them lose. Basically they will just pit when they need fuel. They will still win in the FGT.

what should i use FGT or MINOLTA? :)
 
On b spec, if you set your drivers to 0% (i think the option is in the pit options, haven't done b spec in ages) your drivers just go til the car is out of fuel or tyres. You can leave it running for hours
