Indy Time Trial Glitch

Hey guys, wondering if anyone else has run into the same issue I had

I complete Gold for the Time Trial 15 at Indy, usually with a time in 49 seconds with a Mclaren F1, and I win the prize money for Gold

I do some other stuff, then turn the console off. Then when I come back to GT5, it says that my best is only silver, but has my best time at 49 seconds and something (a gold time)

Now this has turned out to be quite a bonus, as it quite easily beats the other seasonals in terms of grinding. 49 seconds of racing for 500k, thank you very much

Is this a common issue (I havnt seen it been raised) or am I just a very lucky person
 
What, you mean you can do it over and over?

My guess is your game didn't autosave, mine did the same. I didn't have the money when I logged back in or the prizes because for some reason the game won't autosave after you improve your time to Gold from Silver. You're not as lucky as you think.
 
As i read it the op (simo) is lucky indeed.
I hope PD doesn't pull this one now, hehe.
Mynock sounds less lucky though, you turn autosave on and then it fixed ?

I don't get this. Glitches are only relevant when you really struggle to make money.(and don't want to do it the hard way) As it is today when you can make a lot of money in a short time, with little effort and having a lot of fun so the glitches is worthless. The only thing that keeps us from not buying all the car is availability and the fact that only someone nuts would use their time on buying endless Skylines, Mazda and so forth.
