Would you like to see indycars incorperates into the game in anyway? If you would like to see these famous open wheel man machines that reach speeds of around 230 mph then click on the link which will take you to the feedback section of the website where you can vote for them!!!!

If you don't know what Indycars are, you probablly do with out realizing it. They are the cars that race in the Indy 500, which was put in GT5 as an endurance race but there are no indycars or even open wheel cars for that matter. So help to get them in the game and vote!

Already a problem. Some dude who dislikes Danica Patrick is taking his hate for her out by saying that the sport is terrible. So please, don't take your hate for Danica out on the rest of the sport and if I read the guy right he said they don't turn right but indeed they do as they run half road course races and half ovals, making them the most diverse racing league in the world. he also said it is too much advertising when indeed the only marketing you see involving indycar is around Danica Patrick so again don't take your hate for Danica out on the sport with great drivers like Marco Andretti, Dario Franchitti, Graham Rahal, Helio Castroneves and many more drivers from all over the world.

That dudes comment got removed apparently

I'd rather they fleshed out the existing motorsports before adding more. WRC, NASCAR and JGTC need more events and more realistic race rules first. Only then should PD think about adding other race series in my opinion. I would welcome Indycars into GT, but I'd rather the other series were fleshed out better first.

Agree with ^^. I'd like to see IndyCar but ONLY after more WRC, NASCAR and JGTC events.

I am not going to even compare IndyCar to Formula 1. Let's just compare it to NASCAR.

# Average NASCAR Cup event = 8 million viewers
# Average IndyCar event = 0.3 million viewers

NASCAR Cup: 8 million viewers * 34 events = 272 million viewers
IndyCar: 0.3 million viewers * 17 events = 5.1 million viewers

Daytona 500 alone drew 15.6 million viewers (why, I don't know). 3 times more than IndyCar viewers for the entire 2010 season.

People don't hate IndyCar because of Danica Patrick, but she's definitely not helping the sport.

One chassis/engine manufacturer and half road courses makes it the most diverse in the world?

It has the second most diversify American drivers lineup in the world after NASCAR.

I thought indy cars were F1?

F1 is the most boring racing on the planet.Every driving aid possible,2 to 3 million for a car and after the second lap you know who is going to win.
At least with Nascar,Indy Car,World Super Car and other series you at least see some passing and numerous lead changes.Heck even a bump once in a while.
F1 should be F done.

Everyone seems to be enjoying the ferrari f1 seasonal.

I'd like to toss in that the Indy 500 gets 5-7 mil, which is insane. How can you have a motorsport where everyone watches only one race?

I think they run more than one. I read somwhere Houston may reach a deal with indycar to host a city course race.

They only run 1 Indy 500,they run the Brickyard for Nascar and they used to run F1,don't know if it's back or not.

I hope indycar gets back on it's feet. Back in the day before the in fighting and ultimately the split that doomed them ( apart from being crushed by nascar ) it was some of the most exciting racing out there and produced some incredible drivers. Not hating on Nascar but North American racing in general is really getting swallowed by type of racing. Even the American LMS series is limited in the types of cars raced now...variety is needed!

I've never wtached Indy, but I like it because I go to the same highschool as Danica Patrick did. theres a banner in one of the many, and the biggest trophy rooms that reads "2005/ Indy Car Rookie of the Year/ Danica Patrick"

It's... kind of a big deal.... for our "village."

I would truley rather see Formula 1 as compared to having indy cars, for one there more fun to drive, they attend better circuits and Formula 1 has a very large international fan basis where as Indy car are only embraced by americans. So to be honest I hate indy cars I would love to have more F1 cars in GT5.

wow, thats weird how can you like gt5 and be an enthusiast and hate Formula 1 its the fastest most purest form of racing. I bet most of the people that comment to this thread will say the opposite that indy cars suck and you know what there right. They might also comment that your a baby and there right again:dunce:

At least she's not as bad Milka Duno.

Marco Andretti? Between 2007 and 2010, Danica beat Andretti every season. Only in 2010 did Marco ever beat Danica. Whilst there are some great drivers in the sport, I wouldn't quote Andretti as one of them if you're trying to convince people that there are more talented drivers than Danica.

To be fair, that is changing for 2013 (or 2012? Can't remember which). New regulations will allow for a chassis and engine war similar to the tyre war in F1 between Michelin and Bridgestone.

Codemasters have the rights to F1, but I'd like to see some GP3/GP2/F3 cars in there, so that you are used to how the F1's drive.

I dont know much about IndyCar (but I didn't know much about GP2 until November 2010) but it just doesn't look that intresting, quite like American Motorsport as a whole (not trying to start a USA vs UK here)

I work for an Indy car team and even I don't want to see it in this game. Give me 1990-1999's version of Indy car/CART and I'd be happy. It's been pretty terrible since.

I be glad to have IndyCar in GT5, i be glad to have many categories has posible in GT5.
