Am I one of the only people that really loves infineon raceway, and wants it back? I feel like no one else really, REALLY liked this track like I did. I want it to be in GT5 desperately.

Oh I am sure there is a LOT of people that want it back including me. It's my backyard track (well deep backyard....little over an hour away) Love that track. They are doing drift events a lot at Infineon now and it would be a great add to GT5 just for the drifting, let alone all the other good racing you could do on it.

Yup. Went to play GT4 yesterday just to drive on it!
It's a great track and I truly hope it comes back. 👍

I totally agree with you but it wasn 't in GT5 due to some licencing issues. So we probably won't be seeing it anytime soon. :(

HMMMM....well if it's due to licensing then it USED TO BE CALLED Sears Point Raceway? Way to sneak it in? I wish

It was one of my favourite tracks in GT4, spend hours just hotlapping that track.
I don't understand the decision to cut a lot of tracks from the GT5 list (Seattle, Citta di Aria, Costa di Amalfi, El Capitan and Twin Ring Motegi being among those I sorely miss). Ofcourse they're graphically outdated now, but so are Laguna Seca, Trial Mountain and a host of others which did make the cut.

U R in my mind! 👍

I would love to have it back.

It would be perfect to put back in just because of the NASCAR licensing. It's a really great track and I wish it was back...

It would be nice to have it back but if it's stuck in licensing problems we most likely won't have it. Paperwork

Yup. It makes no sense to me that Infineon isn't in the game, though that goes for alot of other tracks too. But Infineon specifically because of how GT5 features NASCAR and GT4 had the NASCAR layout of Infineon which IMO is the best config.

As of right now there's only 4 tracks in the game that NASCAR has EVER been to, and truth be told most people don't even know NASCAR used to go to Sazuka East and Fuji. But people actually KNOW NASCAR goes to Infineon, so it makes no sense to not have it.

That's why the Audi R8 lmp doesn't have the huge Infineon logo on the side!

Infineon is one of the few MIA tracks in GT5 with a reason behind it: licensing. Forza picked up Infineon, so PD couldn't put it in. You may notice on the Audi R8 Race Car the Infineon logo that was on it in GT4 is absent now.
