It's nice, but I'd hate to replace those "sexy" headlights if it was in an accident... probably be "expensive sexy" then. Is it a replacement of the G35? It would be also interesting to see what the police say about then blue lights since they were pulling people(ricers) with blue lights.

Some cool features, it has a key you never really need to use, you can keep the key in your pocket and when you approach the car will unlock the doors, adjust the seats and mirrors etc. then start at the push of a button and you can drive away, all without needing to use the key!

rear active steer senses acceleration and turning and adjusts to make the car handle better

The car also has active AWD, meaning the car can be both RWD or AWD depending on the conditions of the road.

Like your tunes, hows a 14 speaker stereo system? with bose 5.1 surround sound and speakers even on the shoulders of the front seats! built in subwoofer too!

comes in a V6 or V8 :)

Xenon HID's standard, and they are legal since in order to make the car in teh us it would have had to pass DOT standards.

No, its not the replacement of the G35. The M45 is bigger and more expensive. They are pretty fast too 1/4 mile in about 14.6 (340 hp V8)

I was reading somewhere that blue lights are clearer.

I think it looks nice.

The G35 is currently being sold alongside the first-generation M45. The pictures in the first post of this thread refer to the second-generation M45, which will also be sold alongside the current G35. This is the first-generation M45:

^ Also known as Nissan Gloria in Japan.

The new 2005 M45 caught my eye a bit when I saw it on Car and Driver, its a worth a look when it comes out, but still the new 2005 Acura RL is more interesting to look at first, dang that SH-4WD.

Renault had that in Laguna 3 years ago, now they have it in almost all their models. (Renault owns a 44% stake in Nissan)

Most AWD cars have that.

so.....nissan ditched the cedric?

and is now going with gloria? or are they keeping cedric.

I think it's pretty cool. My dad own's a Black G35 and whenever we go to the dealership we sit in all the cars and the M35 there is pretty nice. In Japan they use Infiniti's as Limo's.

I wanted to make new thread but found this one... so I'll post it here

I've always been a fan of this car.

For those that are wondering, Nissan ditched both the Cedric and the Gloria and replaced it with the Fuga (equivilant of the 2nd gen M35/M45).

Although the classical Cedric sedan still exists, but this is the car that serves as a taxi in Japan. It bears little resemblence to the Cedric of last year.

I'm a big fan of the new M45 / Fuga. I've got to agree, the whole headlight/grill setup is HOT. I'd take one over a 5 any day.
