So, after a few months of finding out about the mysterious Infiniti concept for Paris, it has now given the moment of truth: It's Infiniti's upcoming Porsche Panamera rival flagship dubbed the Q80 Inspiration! Its engine is 3.0 liter twin-turbo V6 paired with electric motors, cranking up to 550hp. Its length is 5052mm long, 2027mm wide, and 1350mm tall, with 3103mm wheelbase. The production Q80 will likely arrive around 2017 or 2018 with a hefty $150,000 price tag. It is scheduled to debut on Paris this October. For more information, here's the link:

They've got a Q30 hatch - based on the Mercedes A/B class of all things - coming next year. Could be that.

You mean a production Q30? Well they're preparing a new concept, not a production car. So it may not be the prouction Q30. Unless if this could be a hotter version of the Q30 Concept. Q30 Eau Rouge???

Where would you get that idea?

This is the press release, verbatim:
Hong Kong – Style and substance that push any pre-conceived limits.

Soon, Infiniti will share a vision, its soul, on a scale not seen before from the company.

For now, this. For more −

À bientôt.

Nothing about whether it's a concept or production car. Just "a vision" - and "on a scale not seen before".

It's worth noting that if there's an engine that needs to breathe behind that mostly-metal grille, it won't breathe too well - so possibly an electric something. The ratio of badge to grille width also suggests something small (which would fit with "a scale not seen before"...)

I liked the way they say "a Vision"
...well, you know why.

ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN Nope. Definitely not. I'm 200% sure i'm wrong.

That is what I was thinking, it most likely a EV.

Hmmm.... likely an electric flagship car that could take on the Tesla Model S and other electric or plug-in hybrid flagships.

And maybe humiliate those overhyped Hellcats while being at it?

They should call it the Infiniti Lupe.

Oh god, the last few years have neen hurting alot as a MB fan, but that Merc - Nissan/Renault/Infiniti relationships gets really worriying.

That is one fluid-looking design. Build it as is, Nissan; don't water it down. I mean, I know you will, but here's hoping you'll finally do something exciting with Infiniti.
