Infiniti VGT Accidental Leak

On the most recent post of GT's Pitstop blog (http://pitstop.gran-turismo.com/en/article/1129)
there's a photo of some upcoming seasonal events for the new year. Nothing really strange about that, until you look to the far left. (also note that the spelling for "Jaguar" is wrong)

So, what are your thoughts on the Infiniti VGT? I think it looks like the Mitsubishi VGT.
 
I think you could title this a bit more sensibly 👍 but anyways I'm super excited for these events! I'm worried about the Lancia Stratos and survival event. Oh well great work by PD in my opinion

Also I've read these events will be available soon, but I've also heard they are available now which is correct sorry if this question is obvious :boggled:
 
I wouldn't think it's an accidental leak either. Or a leak in the first place. This was strategically placed there, or how else to show the Seasonal menu screen without it showing up?

"The time trial is a thrilling sector time trial where you slip by other AI cars using the best racing lines you can find. The venues of the events are located at the Matterhorn and Grand Valley, both tracks with many inclines and descents."
I'm assuming it will be like the Sierra Time Rally.

Thank you for confirmation! I can't imagine driving the Lancia, from past experiences it tends to oversteer.... A lot.

yea I know, I tried to use it for the Cape Ring seasonal event, It kept oversteering, so I got mad and decided to use my Scirocco.

well the Infiniti VGT hasn't been "officially" released yet, and they could of cropped the photo, so you wouldn't be able to see it.

It's another VGT that looks a bit generic. Move along, the Chapparel looks interesting. IMO.

I thought it was the Merc VGT at first, it bears more than a passing resemblence from that angle.
 
I'm not insane, but I quite like the Infiniti VGT, as long as it drives well I think it can easily surpass the Subaru as my favourite VGT. I'm looking forward to the Survival Event and the "Jabuar" XJ13 Overtake Challenge.

What interests me the most is that 10-lap survival race. Is it some kind of race where the driver in last place is disqualified after each lap?

Basically an S-Class race. This case a 10 lap super gt500 on 2014 Suzuka.
 
I think this Infiniti VGT looks great. It looks so full of purpose. No, it's not as crazy as some of them but I really like it anyway.

Looking forward to this bad-boy too.
 
I was thinking Merc + subaru + a hint of nissan VGTs.

I don't really see the point of these ones anymore, they are more or less generic designs with a badge.
