Hello,

I saved a replay of a race and copied it to a memory stick, transferred it to
my PC, now my question is how do i change the format of this file to a
format that can be used on youtube, is there a way to do this .

any help greatly appreciated . Thank you .

you cant.
one of the feautures that gt5 could upload direct replays to youtube is sci fi , and no you cant change the format , best way is record via cam and upload to youtube by pc. :grumpy:
 
It's not a video file. It's a data file.

Thank's for the reply's, so this save feature is more or less a waist of time
and space. I have a hauppauge sitting on a shelf beside my computer and
PS3 which iv'e had for the last six months which if i new how to use the
thing i could record in a format that youtube supports, but i aint got a clue how to use it, i have it connected correctly according to the manual but i dont get a picture so i cant tell if i can record or not since i cant see or hear anything in the background . anyone care to talk me through this procedure . thanks .
 
It's not a waste of time - you can exchange replays and view other people's on your PS3.

As for connecting the recording device, make sure the PS3 is set to output by whatever connector you're attaching to the device - probably Component - or it won't display a signal.
