Initial D Special Stage Cool!!!

Hmm the only 4wd car i've driven was the EVOIII and it didn't feel like it was drifting. Although the Skylines 4wd system is different, but I doubt they incorporated that into the game. Try an FR car to see if it's any different.

As for a translation, I think somebody has a FAQ that explains the story mode on www.gamefaqs.com .

I have an S13 (Version 1) and an Altezza (Version 2).

The FD is effin quick when you get it to the full tune level.
 
In the arcade version of the game, you can buy a card which allows you to store your car and tune it. It's a pretty cool idea.

I have like 4 cards. But Ive only used the FD3S.

1: FD3S RX7 ( Only one in Progress, Beaten the first 4 people, on the twins. )
I have the Mazdaspeed wheels, and exhaust / muffler.
2: AE86 Trueno
3: S15 Silvia
4: R34 Skyline

Well. I faced TAK with my friend's card. And beat him. He is a pain.
 
What option did you pick for the RX-7? A is meant to be the best one, because you get the twin turbo thingy.

Every time I have a chance to play the arcade I always have hardly any change. My S13 has the Wheels and just the exaust system.
 
T.K? isn't the guy with the FD RX-7 called Keisuke or something?
Also who the hell is Tak? Takumi?

Did they change the names or something, those names sound dumb.

GT7058, u mean K.T.'s RX7... mistay, yes his name is keisuke. keisuke takahashi, hence K.T.
takumi has been reduced to tak... this applies to the tokyopop manga, the arcade games in english-speaking countries and the tokyopop anime, coming out soon...

i'd rather learn japanese (which i'm gonna do!!!)

in arcade stage, v2, i have a white FC (RX7) on which i have completed story mode and am up to bunta challenge. i also got the subaru wrx type-r (GC8v) which is bunta's car in the later manga episodes... it has one race complete..

i find the R32s / R34s to have *terrible* handling and response due to its strange 4WD.. whereas the GC8v has quite good handling, similar to FR but with a bit more grip and a lot more stability (comparing to my FC)

I think that my R34 has good handeling. Although, I'm sure that the handeling will change as soon as I get to higher levels though.
